Join Lucas on his 4-week “Painting Nature” workshop series. These series will explore a different, specific scene of nature on each workshop. Such as lakes, seas, summer mountains, beaches, and desserts incorporating specific colors, techniques and working with elements like, clouds, water, vegetation, sunsets and storms. You’ll be embarking on a painting journey around the world’s most stunning places. From the Canadian Rockies, to Patagonia, from Hawaii to the Alps and more!

These workshops are designed for everyone who participated in Lucas’ Landscape Painting Essentials Workshop wanting to continue learning and practicing Lucas’ techniques and painting with his step-by-step guidance. This workshops are also for anyone with previous drawing and oil painting experience wanting to learn Lucas’ personal approach of painting realistic landscapes.

“Painting Nature: Alpine Lakes” will take you to one of Canada’s most beloved places; Moraine Lake. This stunning emerald lake, located near the town of Banff in the Canadian Rockies has captured millions of people over the years. It’s vivid colors and spectacular surroundings make it one of the most scenic places on earth. Join Lucas on this workshop and create your own painting of this beautiful alpine lake!

In this 4-week workshop, you’ll be able to paint with Lucas’ step-by-step guidance, from the comfort of your home, anywhere in the world!

Workshop Dates:

August 8th to August 29th, 2020.

Live painting sessions will take place every Saturday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Cost from $200.00 CAD

What you will learn:

• How to draw and sketch your composition.

• How to mix oil paints, achieve accurate and realistic colors.

• The 3 keys to paint a realistic lake.

• Brushwork techniques to create different realistic elements like water, rocks, clouds, and trees.

• Strategies and ideas on how to boost your creativity and learn more about yourself while creating.

How it will work:

• Upon registration, you will receive an email confirmation with the workshop’s class schedule, curriculum and a list of recommended supplies.

• Every week there will be a new module covering an aspect of the painting process and you’ll have a week to work on it.

• Lucas will host a weekly, live, online video class where he’ll teach each module and demonstrate it. You will be able to follow along from your home, paint together with Lucas guiding you Live and ask questions. (Don’t worry if you miss a session. They will be recorded and available for you to watch online up to 3 months after the workshop!)

• By the end of the last module, you will have your painting completed!

• You will also have access to a private Facebook group where everyone participating in the workshop will be able to ask questions, post images of their progress and interact with each other.

• Essential painting and studio supplies (detailed supplies list provided upon registration).

• Computer with Internet.

• Facebook account (optional for the Private Facebook Group).
