Dylan will be using acrylic paint to demonstrate a fast and satisfying method of using light and shadow to establish the basis of a dramatic portrait painting. Portraiture has a reputation for being the most intimidating subject matter for aspiring painters and illustrators- what if there was a ‘magic trick’ to get past the pressure of the portrait? Dylan is here to share his method. Dylan will also be demonstrating risk taking with colour and composition by using an expressionistic and limited palette.
