Since September, the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation has started a new Art Class series where everyone can get creative online!
Each month, we have invited talented artists from our incredible Art Vancouver alumni to teach their passion through the new and exciting format.

Palette Knife painting is a unique technique involving applying layers of textured color with a blunt blade. It’s a creative method to explore when wanting to add dimension to your work. In this class, you will learn about proportion, texture, and creativity as Sky Lilah guides you step-by-step into creating your very own beautiful and bold abstract painting with acrylics.
MATERIALS:
Students are expected to provide their own supplies in order to participate.
- Palette Knife
- Canvas
- Acrylic Paint: Pink, Red, Blue, White, Black, Yellow, Orange, Purple
- Pencil & Eraser
- Paper towel
