Pet Portrait Painting Workshop
Saturday and Sunday July 18th and 19th 10am-1pm
$130 all materials included
Learn to create colourful and unique animal portraits from start to finish, using your own photographs. All supplies will be provided as well as detailed instruction and guidance for all levels of experience. We will talk about what makes a portrait successful, ways to approach your composition, and various tools to help you achieve a likeness in your portraiture.
You will leave this workshop with a finished pet portrait of your very own devising, and some valuable skills with which to approach future paintings.
Classes are held at North Park Art Studio, at 903 North Park Street #10 in Victoria BC, and facilitated by artist and illustrator Laura Bonnie. After putting in-person classes on hold due to covid this spring, Iām happy to be offering some in-person workshops this summer at the studio, with added precautions including limiting all groups to four or less participants, and wearing masks during indoor sessions. Summer workshops include all materials in fee.
