Description
This workshop is designed to assist those who appreciate poetry, who are interested in writing poems but have a hard time getting started, or would like to work in a different way.
Building on Art’s ability to inspire, participants will acquire the necessary skills to produce (new) poems from (old) song lyrics that bear no visible relationship to their source.
Participants are asked to bring to class the lyrics of between three to five songs of their choosing (preferably popular songs from the 1950s to the present)
