Printing with Speedball Speed Screens

Join Christina Jacobs who is part of a husband and wife duo Arsenal Handicraft in this informational demo, and learn how to use Speedball Speed Screens!  Christina will teach you how to create beautiful screen prints of your artwork with a high level of detail. You will learn how to mix any colour of metallic inks and how to print gradients of colour. The printing will be demoed on paper although the same techniques can be used to print on fabric.

Speedball Speed Screens Kit

Speedball Acrylic Screen Printing Ink (Silver)

Akua Liquid Pigment (Pthalo Blue and Pyrrole Orange)

Speedball Extender Base

Transparent Base or Varnish (Gloss)

Speedball Block Out Tape

Printmaking Paper (Speedball Printmaking Paper Pads)

Join Christina Jacobs in this informational demo, and learn how to use Speedball Speed Screens. She creates nature focused pieces of art inspired by her travels and home base near Detroit, Michigan. Original illustrations are screen printed by hand with uniquely blended metallic and glow in the dark inks. The narrative quality of Arsenal’s work has been sought out by like minded storytellers, including musicians, filmmakers, comedians, and game designers.
