Join artists for a virtual tactile stroll though GREAT MUSEUMS AND COLLECTIONS with your pencil and occasionally with traditional hand-made materials used by the old masters. The time-honored practice of studying techniques from the hand of great European masters and sculptors to glean fundamental visual and compositional principles goes back to the great renaissance of Italy. Your experience will be as culturally rich as it is academic. Enjoy! All levels welcome! Each session includes full drawing demos.

AN INTERPRETATION OF LIFE IN THE WAY OF THE OLD MASTERS

Tuesday compliments Museum Mondays by offering artists opportunities to apply traditional methods of manual drawing to sculpture, portrait, still life and figurative studies. This program employs a cultural step into the rich methods derived from old-world ateliers, and is geared to encourage artists to grow in their visual understanding and ultimately to add power and efficiency to their creative voice. The setting is enjoyable and relaxed. However, the teaching is specific and comprehensive. Enjoy! All levels welcome! Each class includes full drawing demos.

ACADEMIC WEDNESDAYS

A PLEASANT DIVE INTO VISUAL FUNDAMENTALS

Wednesday offers a more in depth look at the fundamentals that underlie the study of manual drawing. Here our observational skills are carefully transformed into fundamental interpretations as we systematically reverse-engineer the portrait, the gestural figure, linear scapes and compositions, as well as common challenges that apply to every visual field of study, including photography. You will see your world through a new pair of eyes, thus allowing for enhanced design and artistic expression. Specific and comprehensive manual studies are complimented with an enjoyable and relaxed delivery and full demonstrations. Enjoy! All levels welcome!

ONLINE ATELIER

For additional study and practice, all online entrants are welcome to enjoy attending any of the additional classes listed above at no extra cost. However, each student carries the responsibility to attend his/her primary enrollment class each week or an alternate session if necessary. Your payment covers your first four sessions for each respective calendar month.

This privilege to enjoy additional sessions will ultimately remain at the discretion of the instructor and may be changed without notice. The studio is under no obligation to provide this extra privilege to enrolled students.
