Take a trip through time and learn about the time honoured tradition of drawing atelier!
Join Mark Anthony as he defines, explains and demonstrates time honoured disciplines, like master copy for instance, from the traditional drawing atelier and offers tips on how you can begin your own local drawing group. Participants should come with a small drawing pad for sketching and note taking. You will be introduced to several examples of atelier practice that continue to be foundation studies for the modern representational artist. Mark will show you hand made drawing materials according to 15th century craft methods and recipes.

For over 30 years, Mark Anthony’s great passion for artistic tradition complimented with his own strong European roots has lead him into a career in representational drawing based on the poetic charm of the old-world European studio.
