Join artist Taka Sudo as he demonstrates his technique of creating vibrant images in his unique style, including transferring and combining hand painting and spray painting on a skateboard deck. Learn about his artistic process and what inspires and guides his pieces. This will be a pop-up style demo that does not require registration, so come by anytime during the time frame and check out Taka’s amazing work!
Taka moved to Whistler from Tokyo fifteen years ago to pursue his passion for skiing. He credits his experience of immigrating and the contrast of Tokyo and BC as a major part of his inspiration for his unique artistic style, and his love for skiing and snow sports have inspired visual cues in his work.
