Join artist Taka Sudo as he demonstrates his technique of creating vibrant images in his unique style, including transferring and combining hand painting and spray painting on a skateboard deck. Learn about his artistic process and what inspires and guides his pieces. Taka will be doing a regular style demo (registration required) from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM, and a pop-up style demo that does not require registration from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

Taka moved to Whistler from Tokyo fifteen years ago to pursue his passion for skiing. He credits his experience of immigrating and the contrast of Tokyo and BC as a major part of his inspiration for his unique artistic style, and his love for skiing and snow sports have inspired visual cues in his work.
