Fluffy Funny Roosters as part of Culture Days

Description

With all materials included, we will explore the fun of watercolour on Strathmore watercolour cards.  The template is a Rooster from the Caribbean that was fluffing its feathers and strutting its stuff.  The fun of this project is that the painting can be any colour – monochromatic to every colour and it still creates a terrific playful image of the rooster.  You might even capture the shape as a “heart”.

We will work on beginner techniques like glazing, wet on wet, and spatter.  We’ll explore some of the “cultures” associated with the Rooster.

Prerequisites

NONE.  This is all about getting comfortable with the watercolor medium and also taking the cultures of the community.
