Watercolour & Mixed Media with Amber Lomax
Join Amber Lomax as she takes you through step-by-step the techniques and tools to create a watercolour, mixed media work of art. Watch how Amber layers mixed media over a watercolour wash. Media demonstrated includes collage, ink pens, pencil and graphite paper. Experiment with these techniques to create your own colourful and creative compositions. This is a fun and playful process where you will make your own rules.
Materials List:
Arches Paper (Cold press 300gsm)
Sharpie or Micron Pen (Fine)
Watercolour Brushes (Opus Allegro size 10, 5 1)
Glue Stick, Elmers (Photo stiks acid free)

Artist Bio:
Amber is inspired by imagery from her vivid dream life. Her dream journal provides fuel for painting exploration and the act of painting itself is a dialogue between the conscious and subconscious as each work evolves. Born in Truro, Great Britain, Amber moved to Canada in 2010 and paints from her home on Vancouver Island.
