Gain experience working with watercolours in a loosely structured supportive studio setting. Work on personal projects to develop your style.

As the instructor, I will have reference photos and each week we complete a different subject and set of watercolour techniques. I will demo techniques to help you attain specific skills in watercolour which will allow you to successfully execute the style on your own paintings should you chose to try something different.

Lots of tips and techniques given as well as provided on handouts. Great fun and an initiate group of people to get to know while you master creativity in watercolour!

Special Instructions

Sonia Mocnik has been teaching watercolour for 3 years at the Roundhouse Community Center.  Her classes sell out fast.  The class is filled with all age ranges but can be found in the Roundhouse Winter brochure on P. 28 under "older adults and arts" or online under the "adults" section of art and watercolour.

Bring your own watercolour supplies.  

Templates, step by step writeup and reference photos as well as reference video is provided.  Each week a new demo is completed in the classroom.
