Description
Always wanted to try to paint in watercolour, have all the gear, but just never “did it”….. this class helps to get you going in the “POSITIVE” direction. We paint charts, colour wheel, find out more about paints, paper, how to setup your pallette, what kind of painter are you? tubes – pans – testing dabs – large brushes, small brushes – no brushes. Then there is the painting itself – learn the basic wash techniques, revisit the basic techniques, expand on these techniques. Try a simple still life, try a bird, a flower, a set of washes and glazes that keep the white….and much more!
I will have sample materials the first class so you can decide what you want to start with. Otherwise bring whatever watercolour materials you might have.
