Join us during BC Youth Week to collaborate, share stories and create a zine together!
1. Creator Meetup
Drop in to create your own page for the zine! Local artist Ace Valentino will be available to share advice, feedback and help mentor any newcomers to the zine scene.
When: Tuesday, May 3rd, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Penticton Public Library (785 Main St.)
2. Zine Pick-up
Leave your creations with us for a couple days to scan and print, and pick up a copy of the completed zine!
When: Friday, May 6th, 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Where: Penticton Skate Park
3. Zine Bookbinding Workshop
Learn basic bookbinding skills to put together small booklet type zines, sketchbooks and DIIY journals. You can bring your zine copy for practice!
When: Saturday, May 7th, 2:00 pm
Where: Penticton Public Library (785 Main St.)
*This event is a part of Youth Week 2022, open to ages 12-24. This is a drop-in workshop with no preregistration or fee.
