Appalachian Egg Basket (18+ years • One-day class)

Description

Using an over/under weaving method, create a unique twin-bottom, ribbed basket with a handle using commercial cane and natural materials. Incorporate vines, sand and grasses to give your basket an organic look and shape. Traditionally used to carry eggs, this functional basket looks great in the home. Handouts will provide instruction, so you can create more baskets at home. Teacher: Kristen Conboy
