Art Symposium | Kickstart Your Arts Career

$50 for RAG and CARFAC members | 75 for non-members

Are you an aspiring artist who wants to kick start a career in the arts? Are you a professional or semi-professional artist looking for ways to get noticed and develop your art practice?

Presented in partnership by CARFAC BC, Richmond Public Art, and the Richmond Art Gallery, the 2016 Art at Work Symposium is a full day of panel discussions, break-out sessions, and a networking reception, where working artists, curators and arts specialists can come together to provide tips on professional practices and share their experiences working in the arts and cultural sector. All artists and arts professionals are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to network and learn. Lunch will be provided along with a swag bag full of useful guides and information for registered participants.

The event will aim to:
– provide artists with practical, inspiring, and career-enhancing programming;
– support the growth and development of the arts and culture sector in Richmond and beyond; and
– encourage networking and sharing within the arts and culture community.

You can find a program flyer with more information on the symposium schedule and guest arts professionals who will be participating here: http://bit.ly/1PB6PnJ.
