Basket Weaving with Tule Rush

Have you ever seen people collecting bundles of kelp, tule rush or coils of cedar bark? Wonder what they do with it? This workshop is a chance to turn common elements of nature into impressive works of art. Learn the basics of plaiting and twining to create a pile of nature’s bounty into a beautiful shoulder bag with the addition of wild cherry bark, kelp and a braided leather handle. No experience is necessary; 9am-5pm. Instructed by Cheryl Massey.
