$Free - register for your place

Description

European artist, Allan Kirk, will be travelling between sell-out workshops in Calgary and the Coast Collective (http://www.coastcollective.ca/classes.html), Victoria, where he is being welcomed back for the second year. He will visit Opus Kelowna where he will show you how to create beautiful sketches quickly, wherever you are, with a minimum of equipment.

“I always carry my Pentel Waterbrush and sketchbook with me. Such easy, flexible tools enable me to work wherever I am. This freedom allows me to build a sketchbook that is not only a rich source of material for later studio work, but in itself is a collection of finished sketches and a journal of memories.”

Allan can be seen producing a Pen and Wash Sketch in Venice on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkdReA6kL9w
