Description
This class will introduce you to Chinese Brush painting and will include the basics to more advanced techniques. You will have the opportunity to explore many different ways to simplify your brush stroke taking your inspiration through nature. There will be an emphasis on subjects such as: flowers, small animals, and landscapes. You will get a solid introduction to the oriental materials and tools including how to paint your subject. This class allows plenty of time for hands-on activities for you to create an evocative brush painting. Learn from the magazine, video and/or book published by artist Danny Han-Lin Chen.
