A huge variety of useful, interesting and beautiful forms can be made without using the potters wheel …. mugs and jugs, bowls, platters, boxes, masks, tiles, ornaments, and on and on. In these classes you will learn how to work with clay to make functional ceramic pieces of your choice, using appropriate techniques, as well as several ways of decorating and enhancing your work. Experiment with textures, additions and impressions, then decorate your pots using slips, oxides and glazes.
