DIY Paper Flowers for Mother’s Day

Description
Make your own beautiful long lasting crepe paper peonies! Makes a great heartfelt gift in time for Mother’s Day to show your appreciation.
This hands-on workshop is suitable for beginners and includes a kit with supplies to make two large crepe paper peonies with a choice of colours.
You will get:
-High quality, heavy weight Italian crepe papers (choice of pink and purple, or peach and fuchsia)
-Cutting templates and instructions
-Stem wires
-Glue
-Ribbon
-Envelope and folder
Workshop takes place at the Italian Cultural Centre, 3075 Slocan Street, from 11 am to 1 pm on Saturday May 11, 2019.
Tickets are per kit, so only 1 ticket needs to be purchased if parent and child are working with a single kit.
Special Instructions
Right handed scissors, pencils, rulers, and other supplies will also be provided for use during the workshop. If you are left handed, or if you have a preferred pair of scissors that you like to use, please bring it with you!
The papers and glue are certified nontoxic and safe for children and pets. Recommended ages 10+ as sharp scissors will be used. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
