Drawing Nature

Description
Studio projects include observational drawing, abstraction, landscape with emphasis on mark making. The creative process is stressed to encourage a personal and imaginative solutions to class projects and home assignments. A wide range of drawing supplies will be used, such as ink, charcoal, and graphite. Course will be supplemented with examples of contemporary artists who use nature as an ongoing source for their artistic practice.

Some drawing experience recommended.
