One of the fascinating aspects of the ocean is that much of what exists below the surface cannot be seen.
This workshop will focus on ways to build up layers of drawing and collage to create a multi-faceted, complex surface. Projects will include focusing on the surface of ocean as abstract pattern as well what lies beneath the surface.
Examples of artists work who are inspired by oceanography and working in layers will be shown. Projects include using pencils, watercolour and collage.
