DRAWN FROM THE MODEL at Art in the Country in Aldergrove

Description

Art in the Country in Aldergrove will be the location of an anatomy or portrait one day work session from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Spend a day drawing, painting or sculpting a live human model in the comfort of a spacious and private backyard amid visits from chickens, peahens, a peacock, curious horses and cats. One 6 hour pose with an hour break for a potluck lunch. Relax in the company of new beginners and more experienced participants who share an interest in studying the human form. Fee of $40.00 covers the model, liquid refreshments, drawing boards and a range of media if you’d like to try something new ! Bring along your supports (paper, canvas, clayboards, etc) , media and a dish to share for lunch.

Special Instructions

Different types of chairs available; if needed bring along your preference and/or vertical support such as easels (one available 1st come…), armatures, etc.

Prerequisites

Comfort with some drawing, painting or sculpting experience will be useful. A large family of animals will assist if needed.
