Freedom to Explore Art – Ages 8-16 with Lilian Ghazarian

$275

Description

This is a program of basic art in a variety of media. The students are a mix of ages and abilities and each student will receive one on one attention at their level.

Each class will focus on sketching something new each week, sometimes working from still life, animation, and cartooning, learning about perspective, colour theory, proportion and composition with creativity and freedom to explore.

By learning how to express themselves visually, students will sharpen their power of observation, imagination and invention. They work in pencil, pencil crayon, ink, watercolor and acrylic. As the sessions progress, students will develop more confidence in producing wonderful and creative works. Our instructor can make the process fun as well as instructive.

This is an eight week session, but with sufficient interest, will be offered for a further session.

Lilian Ghazarian (BFA) has teaching experience for over 8 years in the Town of Richmond Hill, Ontario, with a number of Awards. She has also been involved as a member of the Board of Directors, Teacher liaison with Richmoned Hill Group of Artists, and has acted as juror for numerous art events.

“If you hear a voice within you saying you are not a painter, them by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.” Vincent van Gogh
