Create a Rolodex of watercolor or acrylic pigment interactions. Learn how to mix tones and tints to produce the desired value, warmth or coolness to accomplish the 3D affect on a 2D surface.
This is a serious play with either watercolor or acrylic paint on watercolor paper without the stress of creating a painting.
This image is a sample of the pages created in this color workshop starting with Monochromatic, Complementary, Split Complementary and Triad Color schemes. First learning to mix the different possibilities and then applying them on a simple still life… This will be a sample of a Monochromatic and a Triad scheme with warm and cool versions.
You will end the workshop with a much better understanding of your palette and all the variations to create mood, light, values and appreciation of subject.
This class builds on the knowledge learned in the February 2019 class in increase your knowledge, but is also welcome as an intro to people who did not take that class.
