Kids Art Lessons (Ages 6 – 9)

Description

A fun, safe place for kids to explore art and learn to express themselves in a productive way by drawing, painting, and building things. They’ll have the freedom to initiate project ideas and therefore will enjoy the entire process, from concept to a completed work of art. Every four weeks a group critique will be held to discuss their work. This is meant to be a positive experience for the artist. Class size is limited to 8 students to ensure individual guidance.

Each session runs 2 hours.

Note: These sessions are ongoing and not limited to the dates posted. You can register any time! If your child cannot attend a session it is carried forward to the next week as long as prior notice is given.

Special Instructions

Please bring your art supplies to every class.

None – just the desire to create things!

Supply List

• Coil-bound Sketchpad (12" x 18" minimum)
• Apron or old clothes
• Acrylic paints (yellow, blue, red, black, brown, large white)
• Set of brushes
• Pencil, eraser, ruler
• misc. art supplies (pencil crayons, pastels, charcoal, etc.)
• canvas (11x14 min)
