Painting in Oils – Composition to Finished Painting

Instructor; Barbara Callow, This is an excellent workshop for those wanting to try painting in oils, or already using them but wanting to do some more!
Starting with making a good composition we will go through the steps to complete a painting each day. Barbara will demo demo and give lots of individual help. We’ll have fun and learn some things too.
On the Fisrt Day we will complete a simple still life, to get the feel of the paint. It can be any object or objects of your choice to be painted from a photo. It’s best to keep it simple with no more than 2 or three things. You can bring what you want to paint or use one of Barbara’s supplied photos. On the second day, we will paint a subject of your own choice from your own photo or one of Barbara’s supplied photos. She will be painting a small landscape or similar painting.
(If anyone wants to paint in acrylics, that would be acceptable too. No odors , using walnut oil and odorless mineral spirits for thinning)
