Description

Develop skills to improve your photographs and have the confidence to continue exploring more advanced Photoshop techniques on your own. You will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop, starting with an overview and a hands-on demonstration on how to import, resize, and properly save your images.

Techniques explored are: adjusting exposure, colour, contrast and sharpening images, and retouching tools, plus an introduction to the basic concept of working with layers and selections. You should bring their own laptop and have Photoshop (CS) or Photoshop Elements installed. (You may make use of the free online trial version for the workshop available as part of the Adobe Cloud). Suitable for complete beginners: this workshop is aimed at students with little to no previous Photoshop experience.
