Plein Air Guided Outing
$25/40 if I provide materials
Description
Need a painting buddy to get you out there? Meet me at the designated location for an afternoon of outdoor painting. I’ll start you off with a demo using watercolor and ink, then I’ll provide guidance as you work on your own painting. You can bring your own materials, or let me know and I can provide a watercolor and ink kit for your use.
Special Instructions
Tues July 5th: Tatlow Park (Kitsilano). We’ll meet by the little bridge. If it’s really rainy, we’ll cancel.
Mon Aug 4th: Pacific Spirit Park. We’ll meet at the totem poles behind the Museum of Anthropology at UBC. We’ll be walking down the steps to the beach and back up again. If it rains, we will go to the Beatty Biodiversity Museum ($12 admission in addition to course fee).
Mon Sep 8th: Queen Elizabeth Park. We’ll meet at the fountain. If it rains, we will go to the Blodel Conservatory ($4.50-%6.50 admission in addition to the course fee).
Prerequisites
No drawing or painting experience required.
