Explore your imagination and have fun with your creative side with two interesting and easy-to-learn printmaking processes.
The collagraph process involves creating imagery by gluing everyday materials to a plate that is then hand-inked and printed onto paper using the etching press. It offers endless opportunities to create imaginative imagery and the provides a wide range of interesting textural qualities.
Embossing is a simple and interesting process where a plate, created in a similar manner to the collagraph, is used to make a relief or 3-dimensional surface.
This is a great workshop for people interested in working with a printing press to create a range of textures and surfaces using very simple materials.
