Instructor: Tracy Leal
We will be making a variety of book structures that can be made from a single piece of paper with simple fold techniques. A sturdy 7.5″ x 7.5″ 40 page book from a large piece of watercolour paper makes a great art journal and a beautiful sheet of 9×12 paper will make an 8 page booklet perfect for a zine or poetry book – so much is possible. Change up the paper and add a splash of paint before folding and the book is a work of art. Providing a variety of samples and discussing the various options will guarantee you leave ready to get creative. After this class, these books will be possible to recreate at home with no special equipment needed.
