Description
You should have a completed sculpture of a bear (about 5 inches long) by the end of the class. Wear old clothes – you will get dusty! Shop apron and work/garden gloves are useful. Some tools required – see supplies list.
The Instructor – Katherine Woods has been carving for over fifty years. She has taught at Camosun College, Lee Valley Tools and Tools ‘n Space Woodworking, as well as at the Coast Collective. Her sculpture appears frequently at Sooke Fine Arts, at Coast Collective and in other galleries.
