Stained Glass Mosaic – Weekend Workshop

Experience the versatile world of mosaics! In this 2 part workshop you will learn what adhesives work best for different foundations, what type of grout to use, different materials that can be incorporated into your designs, etc. You’ll go home with a finished 12” x 12” piece of hanging artwork to adorn your window or wall.
We will supply the framed piece of glass that you will be working on, as well as the adhesive & coloured grout, along with many types of glass pieces and nuggets, with a few design ideas to choose from (but feel free to brainstorm some design ideas ahead of time!).

Supply List
- Optional: Please bring any ‘found’ objects that you might want to add to your project – like shells, coins, beach glass, tiles, broken china, rocks, metal house numbers, etc. You will need to bring: rubber gloves, a sponge, safety glasses (if you don’t normally wear prescription glasses), and a work apron or smock (as you will get dirty during the grouting process!), a dust mask, and if you happen to have a pair of tile/mosaic cutters on hand, that would be helpful! Get ready to have fun!
