Course Outline
This program is designed for beginners, as well as those who wish to improve their drawing skills and refine their understanding of visual language. Using pencils, fundamental techniques such as line weights, gesture drawing, shading and highlighting will be explored. Students will develop their drawing skills and become confident with the tools of visual expression. This workshop is offered in Whistler Village at Millennium Place – Whistler’s hub for Arts & Culture.
Instructor Bio
Established, Whistler based artist and resident. MacLaurin’s murals are seen on Whistler/Blackcomb Mountains, the Valley Trail, and several parks in Whistler. MacLaurin received awards in Canadian National Wildlife Art, art exhibits and nature photography.
