Special Instructions
If you knife carve, that is fine but the tupelo will get a bit thin in spots to we use power tools and sandpaper for the fussy details. Bring magnifiers if you use them. I will first deliver a 1 hour PowerPoint showing the entire process of carving and painting these small pieces. Our goose is flying with wings stretched upwards. Height is approx: 4.5 inches and length the same. I will have cast feet and a small base for the piece. I do not put eyes in these small waterfowl. Any other materials or tools you typically use to be safe.
Prerequisites
Carvers at all levels of accomplishment are welcome. The seminar will be held at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney BC.
