Woodcarving Seminar

Description
The subject will be a miniature flying Canada Goose. Simple carved detail, metal primary feather insert and mounting, and painting steps to achieve variability of colour and light will complete the bird. The seminar includes a Powerpoint presentation.
Jeff resides in Cambridge, Ontario and is a three-time winner at the World level. He works in both life-size and miniature formats and became a Master Wildfowl Carver in 2005. He has won numerous Best in Show awards at the annual Canadian National Wildfowl Carving Championship.
Special Instructions
The seminar will take place at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney BC on the Island and is a component of the annual Pacific Brant Carving and Art Show. Seminar hours will be 9 to 5 pm each day.
Prerequisites
Carvers at all levels are welcome. There will be an additional shop fee of $25 payable to the instructor on the first day of the seminar.
