Aqua” is trending in the fashion world, and was long forecasted to be 2021’s color of the year. Paying homage to the shades of blue featured in many platforms we use each day, A.I. Aqua is versatile, emotional, and said to trigger feelings of clarity.

Turquoise, Phthalocyanine Blue (Red Shade) both join Liquitex’s existing range of Acrylic Inks as new colors. Turquoise is a strong, bright green reminiscent of Viridian Green in its mass tone, and becomes more of an aqua green when diluted. It is brighter than Turquoise Deep and Muted Green, and less yellow than Phthalocyanine Green (Yellow Shade).
Phthalocyanine Blue (Red Shade) complements existing Phthalocyanine Blue (Green Shade), allowing for a beautiful mix of purples with its red undertone and subtle granulation that resembles denim.
These new colors are accompanied by Phthalocyanine Blue (Green Shade), Cerulean Blue Hue, Phthalocyanine Green (Blue Shade) and Turquoise Deep as part of the Aqua Colors set.
