January 26, 2021

It’s almost February, and you know what that means! Opus Daily Practice Season. It’s time to start getting your pencils sharpened, paint brushes ready, surfaces prepped and ready to go. The daily practice challenge runs all month long and there’s a new prompt everyday.

It moves quick – are you up for the challenge? The Opus Daily Practice challenge is a great way to foster the habit of practice. As any artist will tell you, Practice makes Progress

To participate in the challenge, keep in locked to our instagram as we will be posting the prompts daily! Once you see the post, it’s time to get started! Practice your art based on the prompt word. You can practice any type of art you like! Whether you’re experimenting with a new style or medium, or refining your craft in your favourite medium, it’s all about practice!

The part of the challenge we enjoy the most is watching the community get together, encourage each other, and share tips with each other. To participate, share your daily prompt artwork on Instagram with the hashtag #OpusDailyPractice.  We’ll be sharing your posts on the Opus Daily Practice gallery, on our Instagram Story, and in our emails.

Plus! We’ll be giving away a $50 Opus Gift Card to a lucky participant who uses the hashtag throughout the challenge1. We’ll contact the lucky winner on Instagram, anyone who posts a photo of their artwork for the prompt with the #OpusDaily Practice, can win! So be sure to tag each post throughout the daily practice challenge for more entries!

“I learn something every year! This year I have my
son going to join me.
He writes and I paint.
We will discuss the prompt then do our thing,

separate but together.”
