Spring Palette with Amsterdam Acrylics

We’re welcoming the colours of spring by adding some new colours to our palette. We’re inspired by a mixture of soft, bright, and warm hues that complement the blossoming of cherry blossoms and blissful afternoon sun.

Finding and incorporating 1 or 2 new colours to your palette can change your workflow, increase your spectrum, and usher in a new wave of creativity.

Persian Rose from Amsterdam Acrylics is a impactful pink containing three main pigments from the groups: Titanium White, Quinacridone Violet, and Red Iron Oxide. The cheerful tones is reminiscent of blooming cherry blossoms trees.

King’s Blue  from Amsterdam Acrylics is a bold warm blue containing two pigments groups: Titanium White and Phthalo Blue. The colour provides excellent coverage and artist love it for clear blue skies or adding details to a tropical ocean.

Naples Yellow-Red Light from Amsterdam Acrylics is a warm, light, and creamy colour perfect for painting ceramics, some skin tones, and sand. The colour features three pigments from groups of: Mars Orange, Titanium White, and Red Iron Oxide.

Permanent Green Light from Amsterdam Acrylics is bold and bright. This semi-opaque colour features two pigments from the groups of: Phthalo Green and Hansa Yellow. We love this green for it’s versatility and depth of colour. Adding details to nature landscape from trees, shrubs, and bugs. This colour has a home on our spring palette.

Azo Yellow Medium from Amsterdam Acrylics is bright, warm and semi-opaque. It features a pigment from the Hansa Yellow group and is perfect for colour mixing, detailing flowers and more.
